Our lunches are catered through the CCSA Nutrition Services. Menus include a variety of scratch-made foods including fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Balanced menus include one poultry, one beef, one seafood and two vegetarian lunches per week. Menus will be sent home at the beginning of each month. If you do not want your child to receive the meal for the day you may send in their lunch from home.
We recognize that students may have special dietary needs or restrictions. Certain medically required dietary needs, such as allergies, can be accommodated through our catering program with a doctor’s note. We also understand that students may have additional feeding challenges including tube feedings, puree diets and sensory challenges related to feeding which we are generally able to accomodate.
We work with all children on independent feeding as part of our program. Food is cut up in small pieces for children when necessary. All eating times are closely supervised and assistance is given as needed.
