The North Caroline Museum of Art in Raleigh is a great place to enjoy low-cost and free cultural experiences with the family. One major attraction that makes the NCMA unique is its over 160-acres of outdoor trails, creeks and fields, which are dotted with artwork. Another plus- it’s free!
WPCC staff recommend visiting the “Cloud Chamber.” Follow the trail signs to the Chamber, and once you’re there, step inside and close the door. A small hole in the roof will let in just enough light to reflect the shadows of leaves and clouds through the inside of the chamber.
